Admission Procedure
POLICY FOR ADMISSION

1. Admission of a student of the college shall be subject to the conditions prescribed by the ordinance/rule of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Law University and guidelines and norms of the Bar Council of India.
2. A candidate shall submit her application form for admission in the prescribed format and may be required to appear for Interaction and interview before the principal.
3. At the time of submitting her application form a candidate must submit her transfer certificate original and self-attested copies of all mark sheets and other certificates. The original documents shall have to be produced at the time of admission for proper
verification.
4. Acceptance of application form does not guarantee admission. Admission will be made on the basis of merit drawn in accordance with the marks obtained at the qualifying examination and the number of seats category-wise determined by the college authorities which will be
displayed on the notice board separately.
5. Admission may be refused to any student by the college authorities without assigning any reason.
6. Admission lists will be put on the notice board of the college from time to time. Candidates are required to see the notice board for their admission. No separate information will be given to any student in this regard.
7. The candidates who stand in merit and are thus found eligible shall pay the required fee within the time notified by the college authorities failing which the offer of admission shall automatically stand withdrawn.
8. The inclusion of name with the admission list shall not confer any right to be admitted if it is found that the applicant concerned has taken part in any objectionable activity including unfair practice in any university examination and in consequence of which she has been expelled/restricted from the college or has been subjected to any disciplinary action in this regard or is found to have given false information on the basis of which she has been selected for the admission.
9. No Student shall be admitted unless she has deposited the fees fixed by the college authorities. All fees will be charged at the time of admission for 12 months. Fees once paid shall not be refunded or transferred in any case.

The following cases shall not be considered for admission to LLB I/II/III year B.A. LL.B. & LL.M. degree courses.
(1) Candidates who are declared failed.
(2) Candidates who are detained from appearing at an examination due to a shortage of attendance.
(3) Candidates who have been convicted for a criminal offense involving moral Turpitude.
(4) Candidates against Whom FIR has been lodged by the university or any other competent authority or by any person.
(5) Candidates Who have indulged themselves in misbehavior with any teacher or authority/official of the university/college.
(6) Candidates who want admission subsequent to their passing of any other examination of which the result is not declared before the last date fixed may also apply but their admission in the college will be provisional & does not entitle any legal right.

(I) B.A. LL.B. FIVE-YEAR INTEGRATED SEMESTER BASIS COURSE:
     ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION: SCHEME OF SEMESTER EXAM :

(i) An applicant who has completed Senior Secondary School Course (10+2) or equivalent (such as 11+1, 'A' level in Senior School Leaving Certificate Course) from a recognized University of India or outside or from a Senior Secondary Board or equivalent, constituted or recognized by the Union or by a State Government or from any equivalent institution from a foreign country recognized by the government of that country for the purpose of issue of qualifying certificate, on successful completion of the course, may apply for and be admitted to (i) First year of B.A. LL.B. Provided that applicants who have obtained 10+2 Higher Secondary School Certificate or First Degree Certificate after prosecuting studies in distance or correspondence method shall also be considered as eligible for admission to First Year of B.A.LL.B. Explanation: The applicant who has obtained 10+2 through open Universities system directly, without having any basic qualifications for prosecuting such studies are not eligible for admission in this course.
(ii) Candidate passing Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (10+2) or its equivalent, as prescribed by the Bar Council of India or the University, with a minimum of 50% marks shall be eligible to apply for admission to the First Year of B.A. LL.B. There shall be a relaxation of 5% marks in case of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe and 3% for Other Backward Class candidates. (OBC)
